Based in Madrid (Spain), Jornel Engineering is a company whose core business is the development of products for different fields of industry, that have in common their being based on the highest technological levels at each moment in time.

The company was founded in 1896 and at its start its main core business was orientated towards the development of products related with the information technology industry, both hardware and software. Over the years our activity has been moving more into the area of engineering, and in particular towards the sectors of logistics and distribution, where we at present centre the greatest part of our core business.

Jornel is a company highly centred on investigation, dedicating part of our income to this purpose. We have patented some really innovative products and we have opened new lines of investigation with the objective of applying their results in such a manner that it keeps our products as state-of-the-art in the technological ranking.

Jornel is at present in a process of expansion that is reflected in the following data:

Recent increase in our facilities.
Increase in the workforce (mainly in the area of (R + D + i).
Diverse agreements with universities for the development of prototypes.
Our level of billing is 3 and a half million Euros and we have more than 20 members of our workforce who are in possession of higher degrees of whom 15 are engineers and computer programmers.

Throughout these years we have carried out many industrial installations in many companies in this sector, having among our customers companies who are leaders in their respective sectors both nationally and internationally.
